Where to get help

  • The Saskatchewan Problem Gambling Helpline, 1-800-306-6789, gives free, confidential help 24 hours a day. Trained counsellors take calls from people with gambling problems and from their families.
  • Game Break is SaskGaming's voluntary, confidential self-exclusion program, covering all casinos in the province and PlayNow.com for 6 months to 5 years. Enrolment is through Customer Service or Security at the casino, with government photo ID, a signed agreement and a photo.
  • GameSense Info Centres are at Casino Regina and Casino Moose Jaw. Game Break enrolment can also be arranged by appointment with a GameSense staff member at 306-787-2122.
  • Voluntarily self-excluded people, and people the casino has excluded, are not eligible to receive any winnings, credits or prizes there.

Setting a limit first

Before a visit, decide how much time and how much money the evening will take, and keep to both figures. When either one is reached, the visit ends. Players Club points short of a reward are not a reason to stay longer, and neither is a show later in the night. Bringing only the money set aside keeps the limit simple. Saskatchewan casinos are 19+, and the same age applies to PlayNow.com.
